Our training modules will involve power point presentations, group discussions and interaction with skills practices in order to reinforce the learning. The Standard will focus on the processes and systems required together with the personal management skills needed to get results through other people.
Delegates must attend all 6 modules and successfully pass the review at the end of each module in order to achieve the Management Standard. In addition to a certificate and a comprehensive set of course notes, successful delegates will also be entitled to one year’s Studying Membership with the ILM.

Advanced Personal Communication
With the emphasis on behavioral styles, relationship awareness and NLP this course will equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to be able to recognize the behavioral styles of others as well as their own. Helps delegates realize the importance of flexing their own personal style to act wisely in inter-personal situations in order to get the best out of other people.
Building Your High Performing Team
Everyone wants to be part of a high performing team! This course will equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to recognize the characteristics of a high performing team and to understand the Tuckman Model of Team Formation. Delegates will discuss Belbin in order to understand the importance of knowing their own and their team’s preferred team roles.
Coaching & Delegation
With a four step process for coaching staff in the workplace this course will equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to understand when to coach and when to delegate in order to develop an individual and/or team to reach their full potential.
Leadership & Management
To equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to recognize the differences between leadership and management and to realize how their leadership style can influence the productivity and morale of an individual and their team.
Performance Management
An absolute must to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to review KPI’s and the Appraisal process efficiently and effectively with the use of a cyclical formula and SMART objectives. Gives delegates the skills required to review staff performance including questioning, listening, motivation, coaching and giving constructive feedback.
Selling Skills
To equip delegates with the skills to conduct more effective sales discussion by understanding the theory of buying and the skills of selling. Practical exercises will cover questioning techniques, features and benefits and how to successfully close the sale.
